More work on derelict buildings

These images that I have created have been made by using paper cutting, I cut blocks out of the top images and placed a colour copy of the same building but from a different angle underneath. I have then sewn into the images highlighting key aspects and adding the natural growth which was visible all over the building. I like the idea that the moss and trees are growing out of the building. Using Rachel Grant as inspiration has created an interesting idea. Her work also uses buildings, she has used free stitch to highlight key areas. Also she has included other images within her work, similar to that of mine. The piece that I have created uses brusho in the background to represent the moss and mould on the walls. I dont think this was as successful as my other ones, but it is still interesting. Working with this series of photographs and free stitch I plan on creating a garment.
